Sometimes imperfection is intended for some reasons. This chair with two shorter legs is a good example. It is unstable on its own, but together with the environment, it stands perfectly fitting the height of the protruded block next to the wall. Likewise, imperfect asymmetry combined with the right context can create meaningful results. From this we questioned: How can we create imperfection with reasons for other products considering the context of the product usage?

FORTY FIVE

The bulb has a 45 degree cut flat surface which creates asymmetry and imperfection compared to normal ones.

The cut is intended for floor standing. Due to the imperfection, this bulb achieves stability by itself without any connection to a light shade or others by hanging.

ECLIPSE

When we look at a watch, our perception is that it runs regularly by mechanical movement. However what we feel is different. Sometimes it runs slower or faster, influenced by situations and moods that we are up to. This watch lets you feel this difference with a bezel which is not concentric. By turing the bezel pointing where I want, you can spend more, slower time at least visually.

Time is relative. 

OBLIQUE

A ruler is normally straight, parallel and perpendicular. But in many cases, it is used to create imperfect divisions to a flat plain paper by improvised strokes. This skewed ruler helps to divide a rectangular with slanted lines. Creating imperfection by using imperfection.
