In the era we live in, the word ‘decision’ is meaningless due to overloaded contents and information. All the new ‘designed’ products speak out loud to be the best and dress up with unnecessary decorative ornaments. They constantly show off how great their design is, how intuitive their usability is and how beautiful their shape is.

What we long for nowadays is a place to breathe and rest in between those chaotic floods of input. To create this kind of place, we would like to start with small everyday findings to share with every normal people. Rather than showing off and speaking aloud, we seek for findings in everyday life and interpret them in our own perspectives to come up with ideas that could end up as ‘visual oases’.

First, we bring up a question mark /?/ from any kind of cues in daily life. We ask ourselves ‘Why?’ - ‘Why is the shape like this?’, ‘Why is this placed here?’, ‘Why is it used in this way?’, etc. - in every ways to the ordinary things we normally pass by. Our aim is to come up with exclamation marks /!/ over on to these questions, filtered with unique interpretations and added with some ‘fun’ flavor.

The number ‘12’ means a lot to us. We will package the journey with twelve-monthly intervals which will obviously end up every year with accumulation of 12 issues. ‘A month’ could merely be time regulation but it also means persistence while not getting too serious and closely attached to routine life. In other words, twelvemonthly is a ‘monthly life design magazine’. Please feel free to pick up one of our twelvemonthly issues and have ‘fun’ with our /?/s and /!/s.
