In March 2016, AlphaGo, a computer program developed by Google DeepMind beat Lee Sedol in a five-game match, the first time a computer Go program has beaten a 9-dan professional without handicaps. So again, computer beats human. Although AlphaGo itself is not any one machine - it’s a piece of distributed software supported by a team of more than 100 scientists, it created a big impact on people's minds to advance the world led by artificial intelligence. However, we all know that no one has an answer to our future. What we know is, for sure games like Go or Chess will remain physical in our tangible world. Just for the sake of  showing our respect to the analog world, we tried to reinvent Go boards with different temperatures of physical touch.

DAWN

Dawn is a solid block with transition from opaque to transparent, which creates a floating effect.

Meteor is a flat metallic plate with touch of shivering coldness.

The grid is precisely milled out.

The magnetic field.

MILKY WAY

Milky Way is a ceramic pillow for the Go stones.

The 3 dimensional grid slips in the stones smoothly.

Pure white constellation.
