Glass can also be created by nature from various mineral conditions. 'Obsidian' is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimum crystal growth. The beauty of this glass stone comes from the unrefined pureness and essentiality.
From this we questioned: How can we apply the beauty of naturally occurring minerals relevantly to different human used tools?
Minus & Plus Screwdrivers
Minus(-) and plus(+) are the most iconic shapes that naturally lead to the most commonly used two different types of screwdrivers : Slot and Phillips.
With one material and one seamless form language, the 1st read is intuitively and directly transferred to the last, without consciousness.
Plus and Minus.
Despite the unpleasant circumstances(dark, blind, without optical/physical capacity), the grip communicates its functional character with tangible sense per se.
The core products integrated in one stone packaging.
Minus & Plus Screwdrivers by one. ’one’ is what you’ll only need.
Pocket Watch
The straight edge, which comes from delicately cutting out a solid, is translated to represent the hour/minute hands.
one material with one edge.
Inner hour hand and outer minute hand points out the time. The two rotating edges communicates time minimally and silently with visual/tangible preciseness.
A design with one material focuses only on the essentials without over-exaggerating.
The product is ‘moulded' into the package with the same material.
Pocket Watch by one. It’s now time to get ‘one'.
